I have practiced dance for 20 years and hold a Connecticut Dance Certificate. Dance make my life more complete since I find a piece of myself that lost on my busy life journey . Stage light leads me to the wonderland. With body language , I communicate Chinese performing art with people whom I can reach.

To me, dance is not only a beautiful form of art, but also a personal challenge to start in my mid-40s. Four years ago, I joined Alison's dance team, where I met many remarkable women dancers and we found a world of our own. I feel very lucky to be on this journey of dancing older with my friends!

I have been learning Chinese dance for 5-6 years. This is something I always wanted to do since I was a young girl but did not have the chance or time until now. In my view, a dancer is an artist who uses own body movements to convey a music story visually, sentence by sentence. Dance is also a sport that requires fine coordinations of the entire body; a social activity that forms the friendships of similar interest people and a team work that demands efforts from each member. I really enjoy my dance experiences.

I have been learning dance for over 10 years. Dance’s greatest impact on my life is that it has helped me find and make friends with similar interests and who can work together to pursue similar goals. I love the atmosphere of teamwork which dance can give me and I’m very happy to be on this team.
